The International Student Celebrations, the first of its kind serves as part of DENOSA’s social responsibility in encouraging school leavers to pursue
nursing a career of choice thus dealing with the prevalent gross staff-shortages.
The event is also a build up to the all important International Council of Nurses (ICN) 24th Quadrennial Congress to be held in June 2009 in Durban at the ICC.
+- 500 student nurses from all over the country will join hands in celebrations on this day. The Department of Health and KwaZulu-Natal nursing colleges will also form part of this event.
