Structure gets the feel of the mother body...
The DENOSA National Learner Movement had its induction workshop at the organisation’s headquarters on Friday 8 February. The national structure comprised of provincial chairpersons and secretaries plus the top six leadership of the DNLM, namely the chairperson, two deputy chairpersons, secretary, the deputy secretary and the national organiser.
DENOSA Professional Institute (DPI), which is a division which DNLM falls under, organised the induction where unit heads at the head office were brought in to introduce the work that they do and how the Learner movement could make use of. The departments that presented at the workshop include finance, education, member service, bargaining, organising and communication.
General Secretary, Thembeka Gwagwa, also gave the overview of organisation and how the Learner Movement could contribute to the growth of the organisation, as well as briefing the Learner Movement about the organisation’s membership recruitment targets what role the Learner movement can play to support these organizational goals
