Students from Medunsa at the DENOSA head office
More than 60 Students from Medical University of South Africa (Medunsa) visited DENOSA head office on 7 March 2013 as part of the university’s full-day orientation.
At DENOSA, the students were introduced to the role of the organisation within the nursing profession and the opportunities it provides to its members both professionally as well as trade union.
They were welcomed and introduced to DENOSA by Deputy General Secretary, Madithapo Masemola, who heads up the member service directorate, as well as Dr Daphney Nozizwe Conco, the head of the organisation’s professional institute, DENOSA Professional Institute (DPI). Provincial Organiser for Gauteng Pretoria, Thomas Chauke, explained to students the benefits of joining DENOSA.
They were also taken on tour around the DENOSA building, including Library as well as the bookshop.
