TB Month
Dear fellow health workers.
March is declared TB Month in South Africa and World TB Day is celebrated on 23 March 2015, and DENOSA takes pleasure in sharing this video from AERAS titled ‘TB Unmasked’, which is health workers’ personal experience and account of them contracting TB while in the course of their work.
As South Africa is ranked third in the world with TB infection rate among its citizens, health workers are at the highest risk of contracting this disease.
As a way of playing our part in spreading the word about TB this month, we urge all health workers to watch this video and share it with as many fellow health workers as possible.
