DENOSA shop stewards lead nurses to CEOs office over non-payment of allowance in Kimberley

DENOSA shops stewards led nurses at Kimberley Hospital Complex in Kimberley on Tuesday 17 May to the office of the Acting CEO, over non-payment of allowances to nurses.

Public holidays, Sundays, Night Duty allowances are some that nurses have not been paid over the months. Meetings between shop stewards and management often to led to more follow-up appointment meetings while nurses remain with the same questions and complaints. On Tuesday, DENOSA shop stewards took nurses to their convidence to pay the CEO a visit over the same issue, which has not been resolved.

The CEO has since set up a meeting between the shop stewards, management, HR, nurse managers and Assistant Directors to look into the matter urgently on Thursday at 14h00.

Feedback to nurses will be provided on Friday by shop stewards.
