Nurses celebrate International Nurses Day at Dr George Mukhari Hospital

Hundreds of nurses celebrated the International Nurses Day at the Dr George Mukhari Hospital in Garankuwa in Pretoria on 19 May, where they also renewed their vows.
 
International Nurses Day is celebrated across the world on 12 May each year, the marking the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing. Institutions also holds their celebrations throughout the month of May.
