Ga-Rankuwa Nursing College holds 4th Annual Research Day
Ga-Rankuwa Nursing College held its 4th Annual Research Day at the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University on 29 March, where student nurses and academics presented their research findings.
College Principal, Mr Seabe, welcomed all guests. "We need to improve healthcare generally, and ensure that our healthcare is relevant to the communities that we are serving," he said. He said four years ago, the college undertook to embark on a journey to improving healthcare through research.
"That is why today we are celebrating our 4th annual Research Day today."
The college also presented a research of its own quality of the product produced by the college titled: "Challenges experienced by unit managers and professional nurses regarding quality care rendered by qualified post-basic professional nurses who were trained at Ga-Rankuwa Nursing College."
This is a dip-stick approach, said the principal.
