Northern Cape Learner Movement Provincial congress

DENOSA Northern Cape Student movement concluded its two-day Provincial Congress on Sunday 3 March 2019. Held at Horseshoe Inn in Kimberly, the congress under the theme "Revitalizing Organizational Unity and Cohesion to advance Member Servicing" convened to reflect on their past and look into the future by electing a new leadership to carry out mandates given by the delegates.

As a platform to address issues faced by nursing students within the province, it was therefore fitting for the congress to afford the Province’s Nursing Director, Riaan Strydom, the opportunity to acknowledge and respond to resolutions and complaints raised in the Organizational Report delivered by the Provincial Secretary, Segametsi Cidraas. The issues discussed, among others, were the appointment of the college Principal and expediting the presence of the SRC at Henrietta Stockdale Nursing College.
