Newly-released list of accredited public nursing colleges to offer new nursing programmes next year by SANC

SANC released today a list of public nursing colleges that are ready to offer new nursing programmes in 2020 – these ones will offer Diploma in Nursing, and none for post-basic courses so far. This is a slight relief, although it appears that not all campuses for each of the released colleges passed the master, and three provinces have not had their colleges accredited (EC, LMP and NC). There’s an outcry about the small numbers that each year will be taken and may worsen the challenge of the shortage as public nursing colleges gave the country more newly-qualified nurses than other institutions.

The final list will be released in December, according to SANC.
