Mpumalanga holds Gert Sibande regional shop steward council meeting

The two regions Gert Sibande and Gert Sibande East held a Regional Shop Steward Council meeting (RSSC) on the 14th of February 2014 at Ermelo Hospital Dining Hall. The RSSC was well organised and planned through proper communication which was conducted between the two regions. All Locals where presented are as follows Lekwa & Dipaliseng Local, Goven Mbeki Local, Pixley Seme Local, Mkhondo Local, Albert Luthuli Local, Msukwalekwa Local. The guest who were presented on the RSSC of Gert Sibande and Gert Sibande East was the Provincial Deputy Chairperson Mzwandile Shongwe, Provincial Full Time Shopsteward Phinah Mashile,
Provincial Organiser cde Nhlanhla Dladla, Cosatu Deployee Cde Ntokozo Masango, Cde Mduduzi Zulu from SACP, and both regional Leadership were all present, and so were cde T Bophela (GSE Chairperson), Cde J Mbatha (GS Chairperson), Cde D Zwane (GSE Secretary),and cde C Matthews (GS Treasurer).
The position of our late Cde Nozipho Gule as a Gert Sibande Regional Secretary was seen during this RSSC we will always salute Cde Nozipho for her dedication to our beloved DENOSA. Many issues were discussed at the meeting and some positions were filled as co-opted oositions until the upcoming Regional Congress. The following cdes were co-opted: cde Sifiso Mkhatshwa from Lekwa & Dipaliseng Local as the Gert Sibande Regional Secretary and cde Tshidi Mokoena from Goven Mbeki Local as the Deputy Secretary.
“The two Regions believe in Unity and Sharing. Working together we can win nurses towards Denosa and we will continue providing services to our members and let’s continue with the unity of Winning Nurses and Making our members aware of the PPE campaign,” said Sifiso Mkhatshwa.
