DENOSA to lead nurses’ pickets at Ekuhlengeni Psychiatric Hospital in Durban tomorrow morning and afternoon against Hospital CEO

MEDIA ALERT

The Democratic Nursing Organisation of South Africa (DENOSA) in KwaZulu-Natal will lead a nurses’ picket at Ekuhlengeni Psychiatric Hospital in Durban from tomorrow morning 02 March 2016,  demanding the immediate removal of hospital CEO.

The pickets are scheduled during breaks between 07h00 and 08h00 in the morning, and between 13h00 and 14h00 in the afternoon.

 The main reasons for the picket by nurses are:

-          Favouritism and racism;
-          Discriminatory behavior towards nurses and managers;
-          Continuous disregard of grievances lodged due to her favouritism; and
-          Unfairness in the treatment of workforce
