MPUMALANGA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DENOSA TO CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY.

Department of Health in partnership with DENOSA in Mpumalanga to celebrate the International Nurses Day (IND) at KwaMhlanga Showground. International nurses day is celebrated worldwide on the 12 May. It has been celebrated since 1965 by the International Council of Nurses. It coincides with the birthdate of Florence Nightingale who is generally known as the founder of modern nursing. 

 

The MEC for Health in Mpumalanga Mr. Gillion Mashego and the President of DENOSA Mr Simon Hlungwani will address the celebration.

 

We are celebrating this day under the theme from the International Council of Nurses (ICN): “NURSES A VOICE TO LEAD, HEALTH IS A HUMAN RIGHT”.
