DENOSA Gauteng to March and handover a memorandum to Tembisa Hospital management today
Press release
24 May 2017
The Democratic Nursing Organization of South Africa (Denosa) in Gauteng is very disturbed and angry by the conduct of Tembisa Hospital of bashing, victimising unions through the unwarranted precautionary transfer of 4 shop stewards belonging to DENOSA, NEHAWU & Hospersa. We have tried to engage the management through the labour unit in the province in good faith to respect the existence of unions and stop victimising unions but we have not been taken serious by the health department.
We are therefore today going to march and defend the right of existence of unions and stop the victimization of shop stewards at the institution. Unions must be allowed to function and champion workers issues freely.
The march will start at 15h00.
End
Issued by DENOSA Gauteng.
