IN HIGH SPIRITS: Delegates at the Special Schools Nurses Congress in Polokwane
Limpopo hosted a successful its first Annual Special Schools Nurses Congress, which was held at Bolivia Lodge in Polokwane from 2 to 4 October 2015, under the theme: Towards quality health services for all.
School health nurses from across the country graced the event with their presence, where issues that schools health nurses encounter on a daily basisi were discussed robustly at length. DENOSA was represented by Provincial Organiser, Jacob Molepo, who was there to support the members of the noble profession.
To give main address at the congress was MEC of Education in Limpopo, Ishmael Kgetjepe.
Mosima Gwangwa was unanimously elected the new President of the Special Schools Nurses, with her immediate duties being to unite and strenghten the voice of school health nurses in the country. She is a DENOSA member herself, and DENOSA wishes her and her national leadership all the best.
