The first meeting of the Leaner Movement for the year, which was held at the Bhisho Service Point in the Eastern Cape on the 04th of May, was hailed as a huge success.

The Chairperson of Mahlathi Local, cde Nyembezi as deployed by Regional Chairperson in absentia was assigned to welcome the students in their meeting. Present in the meeting was the support of DENOSA staff, DPI Coordinator Cde Jack, Full time shop steward, cde Rafana and the Provincial Organiser, cde Sikwe.

Some of the issues that were discussed included the issue of accommodation, bursary, Youth Day National and the issues of general conduct by students.
