Limpopo celebrate International Nurses Day

Today, being the 15th of May, hundreds of nurses are gathered at Jacque Botes Hall in Polokwane to celebrate International Nurses Day. They came from all institutions in the province to celebrate their being a vital resource for Health as per this year’s theme, which is: “Nurses: A force for Change; A vital Resource for Health”. 

DENOSA’s 1st Deputy President, Professor Olga Makhubela-Nkondo, is due to address the nurses in what is a special day for them. Nurses have scored many victories in the province in as far as health, despite the conditions that they work under in a province that is mostly rural.
