DENOSA welcomes ICN President to South Africa!
On Tuesday 24 June 2014, DENOSA and SANNAM warmly welcomed the President of THE International Council of Nurses (ICN), Dr Judith Shamian, to South African soil when she arrived at the OR Tambo International Airport in the morning at 08h00.
To receive her at the airport were the Executive Director of SANNAM, Philemon Ngomu, DENOSA General Secretary, Thembeka Gwagwa, DENOSA President, Dorothy Matebeni, and DENOSA Marketing & International Relations, Heather Sam.
She is in the country to attend the Nursing Education Association (NEA) conference that starts on Wednesday the 25th of June and runs until Friday the 27th of June. She will be delivering the keynote address at the opening of the conference and will also form part of a panel discussion on Friday, the last day of the conference.
DENOSA General Secretary, Thembeka Gwagwa, will also be part of the panel discussion on Friday at the conference.
