Change your classification accordingly – or else you may not be fully covered.
Attention members:
DENOSA would like to appeal to all its members to ensure that they are under the correct classification, and change their classification as soon as they cease to be student nurses.
Some nurses are still under student classification whereas they are practicing as nurses. The disadvantage with this wrong classification is that, should a nurse who is no longer a student be paying a student fee, the indemnity insurance cover may reject any claim by a nurse who contributes as a student or may not get the full cover.
The organisation pleads with those who are no longer students to make sure that they are under the right classification.
