The Editorial Board for DENOSA's research journal, Curationis, held its first meeting on Tuesday 15 August at DENOSA Head Office in Pretoria.
The Board is made up of individuals from the academia, such as Professor Mavis Mulaudzi of University of Pretoria's Nursing Science, Professor Mashudu Maselesele who is Vice-Chancellor of North West University's Mafikeng Campus (and she is former DENOSA Limpopo provincial chairperson), and former Principal at Limpopo College of Nursing and former DENOSA President for two terms, Ephraim Mafalo.
The Curationis, which is an online platform, is the oldest research journal in Africa and is a gateway for the research work of nurses.
Among others, the Board was looking at individuals' research work that have been submitted for review.
Other Board members include Professor Sonto Maputle from University of Venda, Professor Tebogo Mothiba from University of Limpopo, Dr Sharon Vasutheran from Life College and Professor Lize Maree from Wits University.
DENOSA represents nurses as both professionals and workers.
The Curationis is handled by DENOSA’s Member Service Division. Its convenor is Deputy General Secretary responsible for Member Service needs, namely Kwena Manamela, together with DENOSA 1st Deputy President Modise Letsatsi.
