DENOSA delegation attend the PSCBC Collective Bargaining Indaba in Midrand

More than 20 delegates from DENOSA attended the PSCBC Collective Bargaining Indaba which was held at Ghallagher Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg, from 16 October 2018\\\'

 
The Indaba was attended by all stakeholders in collective bargaing in the public sector, such as labour unions and the representatives of government. The opening was addressed by Minister of Labour, Mildred Oliphant.
 
Cosatu President, Zingiswa Losi, and chairperson of Independent Labour Council (ILC), Basil Manuel were also present, which are the two blocks of labour unions at the PSCBC. 
 
The Indaba looks at the democratization of the workplace through strenghtening collective bargaining, by focusing on areas of concerns for workers, such as safety, health and education of employees among others. 
 
The Indaba will conclude its business on Friday 19 October.
