DENOSA Northern Cape concluded its day one of its 8th Provincial Congress on Thursday, 7 February 2019 held the Moriting Lodge in Kuruman. The congress which on a somber but a celebratory note by remembering their late Provincial Organizer Comrade Tebogo ‘Thiza’ Koikanyang who passed on early 2018. Before concluding its first day of the congress, Comrade Provincial Chairperson Martin Taolo advised congress to reflect on their efforts in flying high the nursing flag and to identify other avenues which can be explored to reinforce the nursing principles, and to uphold the nursing profession.
"Each and every one of us in the profession needs to reflect. Are we still on the right track? If not, how do we redress?" "Never underestimate yourself seated here; the power you have. Let us grab the power that belongs to us by virtue of belonging to this profession.
