DENOSA received a donation of 20 000 masks for its members from its partner, Metropolitan, at the DENOSA Head Offices in Pretoria on 5 June 2020.
To accept the consignment from Metropolitan was DENOSA Acting General Secretary, Cassim Lekhoathi; Deputy General Secretary: Member Service, Kwena Manamela, and Deputy General Secretary: Operations, Dimakatso Sebopa.
Furthermore, DENOSA received a donation of masks, sanitizers, gloves, face shields and thermometer from another service provider, Letsatsi Finance.
DENOSA is also expecting delivery of another batch of masks from another service provider for its members.
The donated masks, together with those ordered by DENOSA for its members, will be distributed to provinces in due course.
DENOSA Acting General Secretary, Cassim Lekhoathi, expressed appreciation for the gesture shown by DENOSA partners at this difficult time for nurses who are at the coalface of the fight against COVID-19.
