RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop shop stewards and leadership training master plan with NEDCOM 
• Develop training material
• Update and compile existing educational material
• Co-ordinate and monitor national and provincial education programme
• Train Shop Stewards and Leaders in Provinces
• Forge strategic relationship with other training partners in line with organisation strategic goals
• Evaluate the impact of training conducted.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in trade unionism and/or non-governmental organisation work
• Education skills, including and ability to facilitate in workshops, design materials and co-ordination of education and training
• Sound Understanding of trade union environment and sensitivity including people management skills
• Writing and presentation skills
• A valid driver’s licence
• Computer literacy 
• Proficiency in Skills Development Facilitation/Assessor
• Be proficient in English
• Be prepared to work unlimited hours
• Understanding of budgetary and financial controls
