The 16th East, Central, and Southern Africa College of Nursing and Midwifery (ECSACONM) Biennial Scientific Conference will get underway between 11 add 13 September 2024 at the Avani Maseru Hotel in Lesotho, and the delegation from DENOSA is amongst the representatives from South Africa at this conference.
This year’s conference is running under the theme: “The role of evidence-based practise and innovations in Nursing and Midwifery in Combating Emerging and Re-emerging Pandemics.”
Delegates from the 14 regional states in East, Central and South Africa are already trickling in atbthe conference venue for their registration. The states include, South Africa, Lesotho, Tanzania, Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Namibia, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
The conference is expected to look at how research, clinical practice and nursing education can be used to respond to the increasing need to accomodate innovation and technology as part of strengthening the nursing offering to humanity in the region and in the context of frequent pandemics.
Various research studies in various countries will be showcased at the conference.
The delegation from DENOSA is led by its National Office Bearers (NOBs).
