HR MANAGER – HEAD OFFICE

JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for the management of HR administrative matters including payroll, benefit administration management, recruitment & selection, employee relations, performance management, organizational integration of employees, management reporting and statutory compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

–       Development and implementation of the Human Resource Strategy and lead on the delivery of the Human Resource business plan,

–       To align HR functions to overall business objectives,

–       Responsible for advising, guiding and supporting management on all HR matters and responsible for recruitment and selection;

–       Administration and Report Writing, day to day operations of the HR functions and duties,

–       Manage payroll system,

–       Manage training and development of the workforce in the organisation,

–       Develop and maintain administrative systems and procedures to provide administrative support for HR projects;

–       Coordinate HR projects and take minutes, conduct orientation for newly hired employees, manage and maintain organization’s organogram,

–       Effective case management of people and related issues such as disciplinary hearings, performance management and grievances,

–       Implementation of Basic Conditions of Employment, Labour Relations, Manage the Employment Equity and Skills Development processes and ensure compliance;

–       Ensure proper record management, and

–       Design and produce regular statistical reports on HR matters.

REQUIREMENTS

·      Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or HR Management,

·      5 to 8 years’ HRDM experience,

·      Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations;

·      Experience in disciplinary hearings and CCMA representation,

·      Strong management and leadership skills,

·      Ability to operate within a team environment,

·      Competency in various Payroll software packages, and

·      A valid South African driver’s licence.
