Communications
The Communications Department is the nerve centre of the organisation where interaction and
engagement between the organisation and the outside world are initiated and managed.
The department is responsible for a number of support functions for the organisation. These
responsibilities include, among others:
– Production of internal newsletter The Nursing Update magazine.
– Issuing of media releases and interacting with the media on behalf of the organisation and
provinces.
– Management of DENOSA communications platforms, including social media platforms.
– Representing the organisation in strategic alliances and stakeholder engagements.
