DENOSA, in close collaboration with the Eastern Cape Department of Health, will be co-hosting the International Nurses Day event on 12 May 2026 at the Christian Centre in KuGompo. This year’s IND is held under the theme: OUR NURSES. OUR FUTURE. EMPOWERED NURSES SAVE LIVES. The theme focuses on the essence of investing in the nursing workforce for better health outcomes. The theme calls for safe working environments, fair compensation, and opportunities in leadership, education and influence for the nurses.
