The correspondence dated 29 October 2022 bears a reference.
PSCBC held the conciliation process between employer and labour from 31 October to 1 November 2022 in an attempt to resolve the dispute on public sector salary negotiations.
After the two-day marathon, employer still remained at 3%.
Therefore, the dispute remains unresolved. On 1 November 2022, the commissioner granted labour (unions) certificate of non-resolution.
The certificate means that the unions are at liberty to exercise their rights of engaging on strike action.
All unions that declared the dispute resolved that they will develop a joint programme of action in the coming week. The unions will consult their respective members in preparation of the action.
