DENOSA had the absolute honour to host our fellow neighbouring nursing organisation from Lesotho, the Lesotho Nurses Association (LNA) at the DENOSA head offices in Pretoria on Friday 25 November.
The delegation from LNA visited DENOSA as part of the association’s study tour and benchmarking.
DENOSA President, Simon Hlungwani, Deputy General Secretary for Member Service, Khaya Sodidi, and Marketing and International Relations Manager, Heather Sam.
In the meeting, both associations shared and exchanged ideas on the means to advance both nurses and nursing profession at country-level, within SADC, and at the regional level.
Both organisations, as national nursing associations, are the affiliates of the International Council of Nurses (ICN), representing their respective countries on nursing and nurses matters at the international stage.
The two organisations agreed that this is one of many meetings between them with the view to advance nursing and nurses in the respective countries.
