Denosa in KwaZulu-Natal KZN is embarking on promoting nursing as a first choice career amongst Grade 12 learners at various secondary schools in the province as the world continues to suffer a serious shortage of nurses.
Denosa staff and Zululand regional leaders spent the day with Grade 12 Science students on 14 April.
The event took place in Hlabisa at Somfula High Scool under principal Mr Mthembu.
The aim is to encourage learners to enroll for nursing as their career in future, due to the shortage of nurses worldwide.
The province will be taking the nursing promotion drive to other schools in other districts in the next few days.
